Design, Renovate, Build

It was a daunting concept undergoing the house renovations that we did this past summer. We replaced all the flooring on the main level. Jake showed us that he was up to the task! Recommended to us by our son and his wife, Jake treated our home with respect. He was knowledgeable and creative, transforming our home into a thing of beauty. Jake did an amazing job! We thank you.

Jake has been making our home beautiful for several years now, designing and executing projects including custom shelving and cabinetry, a multi-level deck with pergola, an outdoor shed/smoking station and a sweet home office. He is ethical, cost-conscious, dependable and best of all, very tidy, polite and professional.

We recently hired Jacob to build a deck at our cottage. The quality of work and attention to detail were excellent, and at a competitive price. Jacob was easy to work with and impressed us with his professionalism. He was honest and accurate about scheduling the project, and although we were out of town during the construction, he always kept us informed on his progress, and the work was completed on time. We would definitely hire Jacob again for future projects.

More than that though, he listens to what you want, and very diplomatically steers you away from something that probably wouldn’t work as you either hadn’t thought it through properly or were unaware of products available or that there were other ways of doing things.
We have used Jake on 2 projects in different houses, coincidentally both bathrooms, one was a complete renovation and the result is stellar. On the second job he had to work around our scheduling and he managed that well. Both jobs were completed at the time stated, within budget and any minor issues were dealt with in a timely way.

The final result of our deck was beyond our expectations! My husband and I went into this project with a strong idea of what we wanted as a design. Jacob was very attentive to our ideas, yet he offered suggestions and alternatives. Jacob was true to his word with start dates and finish dates. He and his assistant were respectful of our property and of our neighbours. We were impressed with his work ethics and professionalism. We have been through a number of renos so what stood out to us was how organized and clean the work site was on a daily basis. We have already recommended Jacob to a number of our friends.
